Need help?
Whether you need help with a provincial service, want to request a certificate, invite the MPP to an event, or have a question for our office — start here.
There are three levels of government that serve you
Different governments handle different things. Here's a quick guide to help you reach the right office, but we're always happy to point you in the right direction.

What does your Councillor handle?
Property taxes, zoning, transit, and local bylaws are municipal. Contact City Hall to get in touch with your local councillor for these issues.

What does your MPP handle?
Healthcare, education, social services, housing policy, and driver's licenses all fall under provincial jurisdiction. This is where our office can help you.

What does your
MP handle?
Immigration, employment insurance, pensions, and tax are federal matters. Your Member of Parliament in Ottawa handles these issues, not your MPP.

We handle provincial matters like healthcare, housing, education, and disability support. We can't intervene in federal immigration cases or municipal property taxes, but we'll point you toward the right department if needed.
Timelines can vary greatly. It depends on the issue. Simple requests may be resolved in days, while complex cases involving government agencies can take weeks or months. We'll keep you updated every step of the way and let you know what to expect.
Yes. Our office prioritizes residents of Toronto–St. Paul's. If you live elsewhere in Ontario, your local MPP's office is the right place to contact.
We help navigate Ontario Registrar General for birth, death, and marriage certificates. We can't issue them ourselves, but we'll guide you through the process and help troubleshoot delays.
No. Constituent services are free. We're here to help you navigate provincial government—no fees, no costs.
