The Eglinton Crosstown demands accountability
The Eglinton Crosstown LRT has cost taxpayers billions and delivered years of delays and broken promises. We need the facts on the record so future infrastructure projects don't repeat these failures.
Years of delays cost billions in public money
Establishes facts for future project accountability
Protects Toronto from repeating the same mistakes

We, the undersigned, call on the Government of Ontario to launch a public inquiry into the long delayed delivery of the Eglinton Crosstown LRT.
WHEREAS Metrolinx, an agency of the Government of Ontario, has overseen the planning, procurement, and delivery of the Eglinton Crosstown LRT, a major public transit project intended to improve mobility, reliability, and access across Toronto;
WHEREAS the project has experienced significant delays leading to severe disruptions to residents, businesses, and local institutions along the corridor.
Therefore, we petition the Legislative Assembly of Ontario to launch a public inquiry into the construction and delivery of Eglinton Crosstown LRT, to establish the causes of the delay as a matter of public record and prevent similar issues from occurring in future public infrastructure projects.
